I don't know where to leave product feature suggestions but I will try here. Please let me know if there is another place.

Can you please add shorter time periods for beacon intervals. Most radios that support APRS support 1 min, 30 Sec, and even 15 sec intervals. I am responsible for logistics and communications for a volunteer Search and Rescue team which uses APRS to track and monitor real time coverage of the field teams over their designated search grids. We really need more frequent intervals to ensure proper percentage of coverage.

The comms members of each team and the dogs carry the radios equipped with APRS, and we want to give the the iPhone version to all the searchers and flankers rather than giving them radios. We find many of them have iPhones and this would be highly cost effective for the rest of the team.

Please confirm if this is possible. Otherwise, we will have to consider other options. Thanks in advance.

Does the position reported via a Verizon Iphone indicate a cell tower location only? Looks like that, as opposed to my exact QTH

    Hi

    Issues with the Signup Stage.

When entering in first / last name and then callsign, when sending the signup request it places my last name in callsign, and then callsign in first name causing it to fail.

I already have an openaprs account, would be nice to see the ability to log in with exisiting accounts as my callsign is already taken up

I just purchased an iPhone5 and when I synched my iPad apps, the OpenAOPS app didn't come over. In my iTunes list, the app is shown as iPad iPad only, although I though it was supposed to work on both platforms.

I went ahead and purchased the app again on the iPhone, but when I tried to fill in the subscription info, every time I tried to enter my password confirmation, my callsign was overwritten with my password.

What gives? Is this an iOS6 issue and, if so, do you have a fix in the works?

Love the app, when it works!

would lov to see an implimetation which would allow you to act as an IGATE. using headphones to listen to the radio speaker (or jack to jack) and then Igate the contents over the internet. Future adaptations may also allow the phone to transmit (make a sound) so a VOX enabled radio could also transmit data over the radio.

Maybe making the iphone / pad a full blown TNC or APRS modem???

    Just add radio

    Thanks

This is a really great app and gets you up and running very quickly.

I'd like to comlicate things a little by trying to interface a radio.

Firstly add the ability to listen to radio output and act as an Igate.

Secondly, can we make the phone / pad output the data sound?
if so is there any reaosn why a vox capable radio could not interface with the pad / phone and become a full digi / iGate as well.

Moving this forward the phone / pad could also be a fully fledged packet radio tnc / modem with built in terminal...same with rtty psk32 or sstv or echolink ??

    possibilities are really endless.

But stick with aprs and digi gate if possible???

    Thanks
